PEORIA, Ill. — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria will be holding a 4th of July Family Fun Fest on Independence Day this year, which will include fireworks.
The festival will be held on Water St. from State St. to the Bob Michel Bridge overpass beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria is holding the event “to celebrate our country and raise funds for the tutoring and mentoring programs.”
In addition to fireworks, the festival will include music, children’s activities and an all you can eat food court.
According to Boys & Girls Clubs, pre-purchased tickets include two parking passes at a nearby lot and eight to 10 admission tickets for the festival. The cost is $200 for eight tickets, while 10 tickets will cost $250.
The organization is encouraging vistors of the festival to bring blankets and chairs to the event to sit on during the fireworks show.
