66-year-old Kenneth Turnbow has been arrested for first degree murder pertaining to this case.
Turnbow’s address was listed as the same address at which the shooting happened.
Pekin Police Department credited the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigation unit, Tazewell County Emergency Management Search and Rescue Team, Peoria County Sheriff Search and Rescue Team, Illinois State Police Lab Director and lab scientists for the gathering and dissemination of information that led to this arrest.

The victim has been identified as Tracie Turnbow.
The Pekin Police Department said Turnbow was shot to death.

PEKIN, Ill. — Pekin Police on Tuesday night were investigating what they ruled was a homicide of a 59-year-old woman.
Police were originally called late Monday night to the 1200 block of Summer St.
A woman was reportedly screaming and crying out for help.
The woman was taken to a hospital where she later died.
Eyewitnesses said Homeland Security vehicles were seen Tuesday afternoon in the driveway, though it was unclear as to why.
