PEORIA, Ill. — Since former At-Large Peoria Council Person Rita Ali was elected Peoria Mayor, her seat has become vacant.
The City of Peoria has officially posted for the seat.
The posting says anyone wishing to be considered for the seat should submit a cover letter, resume, and any other pertinent materials to Michelle King at mking@peoriagov.org.
Materials will be accepted through May 19 at 5 P.M.
The term will begin no later than Jul. 3 and will go through May 2, 2023.
