PEORIA, Ill. — For the second day in a row, the 24-hour Peoria-Tazewell-Woodford COVID-19 case count remained below triple digits.
74 people tested positive. 34 live in Peoria, 30 are in Tazewell, and 10 are Woodford residents.
Both deaths reported Wednesday were of Peoria County residents: a woman in her 80s and a man with comorbidities in his 60s.
Hospitalizations dropped from 90 to 78. 27 of the 78 were intensive care-level.
Region Two’s rolling seven-day positivity rate remained at 4.3%, ICU availability remained at 17%, and the number of overall COVID patients in hospitals decreased by nine.
