PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria-Tazewell-Woodford tri-county on Tuesday added four deaths to its overall totals.
A Tazewell woman in her 70s died.
Peoria accounted for the other three, with a man in his 50s, a woman in her 70s with comorbidities, and a woman in her 80s all passing away.
63 residents of the tri-county during the reporting period tested positive. 32 reside in Peoria, and the other 31 live in Tazewell.
Total hospitalizations dropped below 100 for the first time in a long time, with 90 people as of Tuesday afternoon in area hospital beds. 25 of the 90 were in intensive care.
Also for the first time in close to three weeks, the greater Region Two ICU bed availability ticked upwards. It had been at 16% during that time, but it had increased Tuesday to 17%.
Rolling seven-day positivity dropped to 4.3%, and the number of overall patients in hospital beds dropped by seven.
