SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Monday reported that more than 9,975,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Illinois.
More than 70,000 doses were reported administered Sunday in Illinois.
IDPH Monday also reported 1,424 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19, including 12 additional deaths.
As of Sunday night, 1,906 Illinoisans were hospitalized with the virus. Of those, 473 were in the ICU and 242 were on ventilators.
The preliminary seven-day statewide test positivity is at 3.4%.
