Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood has identified the corpse as that of 43-year-old Jason Rutherford of Peoria.
A toxicology test was pending, but Harwood reiterated no foul play was suspected.

PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police are investigating a body found just before 6:40 a.m. Sunday morning at the foot of Lorentz Ave.
Peoria Park Police told Peoria Police the body was found in a grassy area between the river and parking lot while conducting routine patrol duties.
A four-wheeler was seen several feet from the body, according to Public Information Officer Amy Dotson.
The body, an adult male, had obvious signs of trauma and was dead at the scene.
No foul play is suspected, and it appeared to be an accident, according to Dotson.
The manner and cause of death will be released by Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood upon completion of an autopsy.
The incident is also under investigation by the Peoria Police Traffic Unit.
