PEORIA, Ill. — A total of 3,369 Illinoisans between Thursday and Friday tested positive for the coronavirus.
22 people died.
136,525 people during the reporting period received a dose of the vaccine, well above the rolling seven-day average of 118,741 doses.
Throughout the state, 2,112 hospital beds as of Thursday night were being occupied by people either with the virus or with suspected cases of it. 506 of those beds were in intensive care units, and 230 ventilators were in use.
Testing labs collected 104,795 specimens to be tested for the virus.
