PEORIA, Ill. — 3,170 Illinoisans between Wednesday and Thursday tested positive for COVID-19.
33 died of the virus during that time.
While the rolling seven-day average for vaccines administered has reached 123,078, 131,411 people during the reporting period received a dose.
2,147 people as of Wednesday night were in Illinois hospitals with the virus. Of those, 511 were in intensive care units, and 238 were using ventilators.
Labs throughout the state collected 88,336 specimens to be tested for the virus.
