PEORIA, Ill. — 172 residents of Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties found out between Monday and Tuesday they tested positive for COVID-19.
96 of those cases are Peoria residents, 74 are Tazewell, and two are Woodford.
Hospitalizations increased by one — 126 to 127. 35 of the 127 as of Tuesday afternoon were in intensive care.
Positivity rate for Region Two, which includes the tri-county, has increased to 6.7%. The number of COVID patients in hospitals went up by 12, and ICU bed availability dropped to 21%.
CityLink is scheduled to partner Thursday with the Peoria City/County Health Department on a vaccination clinic.
The clinic is scheduled to take place from 1 P.M. until 5 P.M., and is by appointment only.

Additionally, the Woodford County Health Department announced it was partnering Wednesday with the National Guard Rapid Response Team, from 9 A.M. until 6 P.M. at Case New Holland in Goodfield.
Likewise, the Tazewell County Health Department and National Guard were going to offer a clinic Friday at Veterans Memorial Ice Rink in Pekin.
The single dose Johnson & Johnson shot will be offered at all three clinics.
