PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police as of Tuesday morning were gathering information regarding two Monday night shootings in South Peoria.
The first happened around 7, in the area of Starr and Griswold.
Two people were reportedly shot. One was shot in the chest and the other in the leg.
The other shooting occurred around 9:45 in the 300 block of S. Dusable.
A victim was found in the 1400 block of Smith with a gunshot wound to their hand.
Scanner traffic indicated over 30 shots were fired in the Dusable shooting, and a vehicle also crashed into a pole in the area of the incident, bringing down wires.
Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said information on victims and suspects were pending.
