MORTON, Ill. — Morton School District 709 experienced a slight increase in its COVID-19 numbers this past week, according to Superintendent Jeffrey W. Hill.
As of Friday, March 26, four students had coronavirus, a two student increase from the previous week.
61 students were in quarantine, a 41 person increase from last week.
Three staff members had COVID-19 as of Friday, a one person increase from the previous week.
Six staff members were in isolation, a three staff member rise from the last week.
Morton School District 709 is on Easter break until April 6.
