EAST PEORIA, Ill. — A portion of East Peoria’s Springfield Road was blocked Wednesday morning due to a fire.
The fire was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Springfield Road at Field Grove Road (east of Veterans Park), according to Traffic One.
Springfield Road was blocked in both directions. No through traffic was getting through between E. Washington and Muller Road.
