PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police were called just after 7 p.m. Tuesday to the Walgreens in the 2300 block of War Memorial Drive on reports of an armed robbery.
Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said a male suspect entered the store, implied he had a gun, and demanded cash from the register.
“The suspect then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money in an unknown direction,” Dotson said.
The incident remains under investigation.
