MORTON, Ill. — Morton School District 709 saw a slight uptick in COVID-19 numbers this past week, according to Superintendent Jeffrey W. Hill.
As of Friday, March 12, 11 students had COVID-19, a seven student increase from the previous week.
Student quarantines increased by 29, up from 89 to 118.
One staff member was positive with coronavirus, the same as the previous week.
Staff quarantines increased slightly, with nine in isolation compared to four last week.
