SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Illinois’s rolling seven-day COVID-19 vaccine rate is at an all-time high yet again.
That number on Wednesday was just above 95,000.
It increased Thursday to 98,166, thanks in large part to a 24-hour number of shots given of 112,776.
The state over the reporting period had an even 1,700 new cases. 55 died.
A total of 1,118 virus patients as of Wednesday night were in hospitals. 231 were in intensive care, while 102 needed ventilators.
Testing labs collected 89,893 specimens to be tested.
