PEORIA, Ill. — While no COVID deaths occurred between Wednesday and Thursday in the Peoria-Tazewell-Woodford tri-county, 89 people tested positive.
44 of the cases were in Peoria County, 35 were in Tazewell, and 10 were residents of Woodford.
Area hospitalizations went from 23 to 24. Seven of the 24 were in intensive care units.
Rolling seven-day positivity for the sixth consecutive day held at 2.7% for Region Two, to which the tri-county belongs.
The number of regional hospitalizations remained at 83, the same as Wednesday.
ICU bed availability for the region, however, increased to 31%.
