PEORIA, Ill. — A Wind Chill Warning remains in effect for the Peoria metro area through noon Monday. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
News partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins said we’ll see continued bitterly cold temperatures with wind chills -10 to -15 all day on Monday.
“The next problem, more snow. We’ll see occasional snow showers this (Monday) morning, but the main event comes after lunch time,” Collins said.
The Peoria area should expect four to six inches of snow accumulation before the snow ends late Monday, Collins said.
“This snow is powdery, so it will be slick and visibility will be reduced by blowing snow,” Collins said.
