SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced Wednesday the rolling-seven day positivity rate throughout the state was 3.5%.
IDPH also reported 3,314 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 in Illinois, including 69 additional deaths.
96,894 specimens have been collected by laboratories in the state within the last 24 hours.
As of Tuesday night, 2,469 individuals in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 520 were in the ICU and 270 were on ventilators.
A total of 65,166 vaccine doses were administered in Illinois Wednesday.
