SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Illinois Department of Public Health Saturday announced 3,345 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19, as well as 65 deaths.
In past 24 hours, labs have collected 107,802 specimens.
As of Friday night, 2,600 individuals were hospitalized with coronavirus. 522 patients were in the ICU, and 284 people were on ventilators.
The preliminary seven-day statewide test positivity rate is 5.1%.
IDPH is currently reporting a total of 945,137 vaccines have been administered.
