SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Tuesday reported 3,667 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 throughout the state, including 87 deaths.
However, the state’s rolling seven-day positivity rate remains under 5% and currently is 4.6%.
In the past 24 hours, laboratories reported 69,285 specimens collected.
As of Monday night, 3,001 in Illinois were in the hospital with the virus. Of those, 608 were in the ICU and 320 were on ventilators.
Illinois has now also administered more than 700,000 vaccinations, including more than 100,000 in long-term care facilities.
