PEORIA, Ill. — First responders were called around 8:20 p.m. Monday night to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of War Memorial Drive and Sheridan Road in Peoria.
Both vehicles suffered major damage when one of them t-boned the other, leaving a sedan split in half.
Fire Battalion Chief Mike Hughes said luckily, no one was in the back of the sedan and all of the occupants were wearing their seat belts.
“Three people transported to the hospital with what seemed to be moderate, not life-threatening injuries,” Hughes said.
The intersection was shut down for about an hour for clean up.
Peoria Police have not said who was responsible for the crash or if any citations were issued.
