SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Illinois Department of Public Health Saturday reported 5,343 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19, as well as 130 addition deaths.
In the most recent 24-hour period, labs have collected 102,372 specimens.
As of Friday night, 3,406 patients were hospitalized with COVID-19, and 711 patients were in the ICU. 379 coronavirus patients were on ventilators.
The preliminary seven-day statewide positivity rate is 7.5%.
