GALESBURG, Ill. — Galesburg Police responded Monday to two separate shootings that took place approximately an hour apart.
The first shooting, which occurred around 4 p.m., involved a shooting in the area of Brooks St. and Academy St. where officers found a vehicle that had been shot.
No one was injured in the first incident.
The second shooting, which occurred around 5 p.m., was in the 300 block of W. First St.
Upon arrival, officers found a female, who was in a vehicle parked in a driveway, had been shot.
According to Galesburg Police, she was taken to Cottage Emergency Room for treatment.
Both shootings are currently under investigation.
