PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Public Library has announced it will not be reopening until Feb. 1.
Citing continued tier three COVID-19 mitigation restrictions, the library released a statement saying a balance must be struck between access and safety.
Curbside pickup of materials until 5 P.M. daily at all five branches will continue, except for the McClure branch, which is closed from 1-2 P.M.
Library materials may be accessed digitally by anyone with a library card, and the library’s YouTube channel will continue to be updated with stories and craft demonstrations for kids.
