SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 3,293 new and probable COVID-19 cases on Saturday, as well as 66 deaths.
State labs collected 54,462 specimens to be tested.
4,021 people were hospitalized because of COVID-19. 874 of these patients were in the ICU, and 494 individuals were on ventilators.
