PEORIA, Ill. — A 102-year-old East Peoria woman is back at home after being discharged Thursday night from OSF HealthCare, where she was being treated for COVID-19.
The woman, who lives in her own home, was admitted to the hospital Sunday night after her caregivers discovered her blood oxygen levels were low.
“The nurse manager says she turned around quickly once they gave her some oxygen,” said Strategic Marketing Director Amy Paul.
Paul added the woman did not need a ventilator to help her breathe or any serious forms of treatment.
