PEORIA, Ill. — Each year, thousands of people attend Northwoods Community Church’s Christmas show. But, COVID-19 has changed that this year.
Northwoods Communications Pastor Kirt Manuel told WMBD News that you’ll still be able to experience a Northwoods Christmas this December, but in a different way.
“As an alternative, we’ve built a special presentation of last year’s production. And, we’re airing that in partnership with WEEK and WHOI,” Manuel said.
The Northwoods Christmas show will air on WEEK-25 on Dec. 19 at 8 p.m., and on HOI-19 on Christmas at 6 a.m. The production will also be streamed online at northwoods.church.
“Our intent with that is to provide that same sort of Christmas environment and inspiring, exciting, excellent production that people can gather around in their homes. That they can enjoy the inspiring music of Christmas, as well as the true meaning of Christmas,” Manuel said.
