PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police were continuing an investigation Saturday morning into a late Friday night shooting in the East Bluff.
Police were called around 10:40 to the 900 block of E. Republic following three ShotSpotter alerts indicating multiple rounds fired.
When they got to the scene, authorities found an adult woman with an apparent gunshot wound to her hip. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but there were no updates as of Saturday morning on her condition.
There were no other known victims.
A home and a vehicle were caught in the line of fire, as well.
Police were searching for suspects.
