PEORIA, Ill. — All schools within the Catholic Diocese of Peoria will switch to all-remote learning starting Mon., Nov. 16, through Jan. 18, 2021.
Superintendent Dr. Sharon Weiss explained in a statement the decision came after “a review of data and information regarding the escalation of positivity and exposure rates for COVID-19 in Illinois during the next few weeks.”
Faculty will be allowed inside buildings to teach remotely, but no students will be allowed inside.
Additionally, all extracurricular activities have been shelved until Jan. 19.
