PEORIA, Ill. – OSF HealthCare President Tom Hammerton has announced he will not be joining Bradley University as Vice President for Advancement.
The university on Thursday morning issued a statement, saying “after much thought and deliberation, he has decided to remain in his position as president of the OSF HealthCare Foundation.
“Although Hammerton is passionate about Bradley University, he is also passionate about making a difference in cancer care; he will continue with OSF’s campaign to build a comprehensive cancer center in Peoria.”
Hammerton and the school announced in October he would be starting in December as a member of the Bradley administration.
