PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria City Council member Denise Moore has announced she’s running to retain her First District seat.
Moore made the announcement she plans to serve another four years during a Thursday news conference.
Moore has served two terms.
Her competition for the seat so far will be 22-year-old Aaron Chess and longtime area journalist Denise Jackson.
Moore was born Chicago but is a longtime Peorian.
