NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The NFL has announced the Steelers-Titans game, originally scheduled for this Sunday, will be played later in the season another Titans player and staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
On Tuesday, three Titans players and five staffers tested positive for the virus.
“The decision to postpone the game was made to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel,” a league statement said.
“The Titans facility will remain closed and the team will continue to have no in-person activities until further notice.”
This is the first time an NFL game has been affected by COVID-19.
