PEORIA, Ill. — Two Peoria Public Library branches closed for the last week because an employee tested positive for COVID-19 are on target to reopen as scheduled.
The North and Lakeview facilities are slated to reopen Wednesday at 10 A.M., with full services except for study rooms and meeting spaces. Peripheral programs offered by the library will continue to be offered virtually.
Library officials said the infected employee was in quarantine, but all other employees who may have come in contact with the infected employee have tested negative.
