PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria County Sheriff’s deputies were called just before 12:30 a.m. Monday to Farmington Liquors, located at 2100 W. Farmington Road in West Peoria, on reports of a shooting victim.
Peoria County Sheriff Brian Asbell said a man who walked into the liquor store had been shot in the leg, though it was unclear where he’d been shot.
The man was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. His condition was unknown.
The incident remains under investigation.
Police have no suspects at this time.
