PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police were called just before 8 p.m. Thursday to the area of Kansas and Wisconsin by a ShotSpotter alert, indicating 10 shots were fired.
Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said dispatch received a 9-1-1 call that two males were chasing each other with pistols.
Police located one male with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The incident remained under investigation.
