PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria City Council Member Chuck Grayeb, who represents the City’s 2nd District, confirms he will not run for mayor, but instead seek another term on the City Council.
Grayeb has served the 2nd District for eight years and was an at-large council member for 12 years prior to that.
Grayeb said his re-election campaign will focus on infrastructure and reversing cuts to Peoria’s Police and Fire Departments.
The Peoria City Council and mayoral elections will be held in April, 2021.
