PEORIA, Ill. — A woman from Tazewell County in her 70s has passed away from coronavirus complications, the county’s 24th such death and the 74th for Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford, combined.
The woman did not live in a nursing facility.
The tri-county totaled 75 new cases. Peoria County tallied 46, Tazewell had 22, and Woodford had seven.
The area recovery rate remained basically unchanged, sitting above 81%.
58 people were in hospitals with the virus. 20 of them were in intensive care.
