PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police have arrested a second individual in connection with the City’s 8th homicide of the year last weekend on W. Woodhill Lane.
Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said the second suspect, a 16-year-old male, was arrested Thursday night.
“Just before 8 p.m., the juvenile suspect arrived at PPD where he was taken into custody without incident and arrested for aggravated robbery and first degree murder,” Dotson said.
Talya Zolicoffer, 19, was arrested Tuesday night for aggravated robbery and first degree murder in the shooting death of 21-year-old Terrence Dunigan.
“Due to the second suspect’s age, 16, and being classified as a juvenile, no further information will be released pertaining to his identity,” Dotson said.
An investigation is on-going.
