PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria City/County Health Department Tuesday reported over 200 new cases of COVID-19 since Friday.
Peoria County saw an increase of 103, Tazewell an increase of 77, and Woodford an increase of 26; bringing the total to 206 new cases.
There were no deaths announced Tuesday due to COVID-19 in the tri-county, and the area still stands at 54 total.
Of the 53 hospitalized in area hospitals, 13 are in ICU beds.
The recovery rate fell slightly over the weekend, going down a percentage point from 75% to 74%.
The hospitalization rate in the tri-county fell to 1%, down from 1.4%.
The home isolating percentage rose to 23.6%, which is up from 22.3% on Friday.
