WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. — A Germantown Hills man was killed over the weekend when his motorcycle went off the road on Rt. 26 near Banta Road, just south of Lacon.
Woodford County Coroner Tim Ruestman has identified the deceased as 39-year-old Phillip Force.
“We believe the accident occurred actually early Sunday morning or late Saturday night. He was found the next morning,” Ruestman said.
The cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma, according the Ruestman.
Force was discovered in a cornfield not far from his motorcycle by a passing motorist.
Toxicology tests are pending.
An investigation by the Coroner’s Office and the Woodford County Sheriff’s Office is ongoing.
