PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria County recorded exactly 100 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Tazewell had 76 and Woodford reported 18, giving the tri-county a total of 194 new cases from Saturday to Monday.
55 people were in area hospitals as of Monday with the virus. This included 17 people in intensive care and 38 in regular care.
51 COVID patients as of Friday were hospitalized.
The area’s recovery rate stood just above 64%, while home isolation was pushing 33%.
There were no new deaths.
