PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties combined between Thursday and Friday for 70 new cases of COVID-19.
Peoria County accounted for the largest increase, 32, Tazewell had 28 and Woodford reported 10.
51 people were in area hospitals with the virus, down one from Thursday. 14 of the cases were intensive care-level, with 12 confirmed cases and two suspected cases.
Over 66% of local cases were considered to be completely recovered.
The home isolation rate was a little over 30%.
