PEORIA, Ill. — No deaths from coronavirus occurred between Thursday’s and Friday’s reporting period after three straight days of local COVID-related deaths.
However, the Peoria City/County Health Department did report 93 new cases. Peoria County accounted for 55 of them, while Tazewell reported 38.
47 people were in area hospitals, down from Thursday’s count of 49.
Of those, 12 were in intensive care.
The area’s recovery rate stood at 62%, while the home isolation percentage was 34.
