Morton, Ill. — With classes set to start Tuesday, August 11, Morton District 709 says three students and two staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.
Superintendent Jeff Hill said in a letter sent out Thursday night, the cases are not related.
The school district is working with the Tazewell County Health Department in addressing the situation moving forward.
All positive cases are in currently in quarantine.
