PEORIA, Ill. — A juvenile wanted for murder out of Des Moines, IA was handcuffed Tuesday morning by Peoria Police.
The 17-year-old had a Material Witness Warrant out for their arrest for three counts of homicide, but also a first degree robbery warrant.
The PPD Target Offender Unit joined forces with U.S. Marshals around 10:00 to converge on a residence in the 1200 block of W. Johnson St.
The suspect was arrested without incident and taken to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center, where he was to be extradited to Des Moines.
PPD will not release the suspect’s name because of their age.
