PEKIN, Ill. — Heartland Health Services announced on Sunday that their Tazwood COVID-19 testing site in Pekin, 3248 Van De Ver Avenue, Suite B, will be closing soon.
The change will take effect on Wednesday, July 29. Heartland Health will honor already scheduled appointments through Wednesday, but will not schedule any new appointments.
Heartland Health Services’ East Bluff location in Peoria, 2321 N. Wisconsin Avenue, will continue to offer COVID-19 testing Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Free testing is also available at the Peoria County Health Department on Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and at the Peoria Civic Center parking lot on Fulton seven days a week from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
