TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. — A crash on I-155 in Tazewell County Thursday evening has claimed a life.
Illinois State Police have identified the victim as 48-year-old Steven Richards, of Forsyth.
Richards was pronounced dead at the scene after his vehicle went into the median and rolled, causing him to be ejected.
The crash occurred just after 5 p.m. near milepost 24 on I-155.
The interstate was closed down over two hours while the ISP investigated the crash scene.
