SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The downward trend of less than 700 cases of COVID-19 reported daily continues in Illinois.
The Illinois Department of Public Health Sunday reported 658 new cases of the virus. Those new cases bring the state’s total to 136,762.
Nearly half the amount of deaths reported on Saturday were reported Sunday with 23. The state remains just under 7,000 total deaths.
Only one county in Illinois has not reported any confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The seven day positivity rate decreased from 3% to 2%.
