PEORIA, Ill. — After several days of multiple deaths related to COVID-19, the Peoria City/County Health Department Sunday reported zero deaths.
Two counties in the Tri-County region reported new cases of the virus, Peoria and Tazewell.
Peoria County for the second day in a row reported three new cases for a total of 424. Tazewell County reported one new case, adding up to 112.
Woodford County remains at 33 confirmed cases.
Locally, 72.8% of cases are recovered, 18.5% are at home isolating, and under 3% are hospitalized.
The Peoria City/County Health Department reported in local ICU units, one bed is in use for a confirmed case and two beds are in use for persons under investigation.
